Fall 2022 Update
My New Job!
Across the nation, teachers are in high demand due to the loss of teachers at the tail end of the pandemic. My oldest son, a high school principal and my co-author for Justice Reframed, had several classes that needed to be filled, and I felt God tugging my heart to teach one of them. So these days, my life is quite a bit busier with lesson planning, teaching and grading, but I am finding joy in helping 7th graders draw eternal lessons from our Ancient Literature texts.
My life is still full of ghostwriting, curriculum content for 1776 Unites, and facilitating a bible study using my new book, Maturing Through Prayer. Recording new podcasts is on hold, unfortunately. But I will let you know when Doug and I start recording again.
In my last newsletter I wrote: I’ve been “in class” – virtually learning from various ministries to expand my knowledge base on critical inner-healing needs, specifically deliverance and emotional recovery for those coming from trauma or occult/freemasonry lineages.
Why would God want me to delve into listening to testimonies of people who have experienced horrors that many of us think are make-believe? Why would God, fifteen years ago, launch me into learning about neurobiology, quantum physics, and economic corruption? Well, part of it was for my book, Culture Changers, in which I shine the light on the extent of brokenness in our world. Whether family dysfunction, corrupt industries, or individual oppression, we must recognize these problems in order to seek God on how to partner with Him to solve these problems.
The Body of Christ must stop thinking that understanding the schemes of satan does not matter. It TOTALLY matters! If we don’t know how stealthy and steadily the evil one has permeated our world, we will inadvertently agree with ideas, cultural “norms”, trends, and societal systems that oppose God’s good intent.
Gal 5:1 has become my new tagline.

My mission field: For over twenty years, I’ve walked alongside individuals who want to see the fulfillment of John 10:10: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. Although my focus has largely been in the realm of spiritual freedom (from demonic oppression, unhealthy family issues) and emotional healing (from hurts, shame, perfectionism etc.) by experiencing the presence and power of the Holy Spirit and learning the Word of God. Since writing Culture Changers, I’ve extended my focus to drawing people’s attention to the societal trends that destroy rather than help us live the lives that God intended. The thief wants to steal the stories that God wrote in His book (Psalm 139:16).
As I begin to produce videos, write articles and post about these societal trends–if you read them–you will see that I am taking Galatians 5:1 outside of spiritual issues and applying freedom to our society. Jesus wants His Kingdom to extend. He told us to disciple nations. He wants to repair breaches, which includes revealing broken systems, those who have perpetuated these systems, and bring forth repair and justice. I call this “The Great Repair”.
As Christians, we are called to partner with Him in various ways. I recognize that as a Black American, I join many other voices who have taken their place on the wall to show that: we think for ourselves! We don’t fall into one social category. I will never apologize for my Scripture-centered values and views, although some will not appreciate them.
My new Home page reflects this revamped mission, as another tagline I use is: Voices ARISE! Hearts HEAL! Evil GO!
In this season, this is my message to all. Arise! Heal! Go! and live Galatians 5:1.
